Wyatt C. Morgan

Tulsa businessman Wyatt C. Morgan (MBA ’81) is a proud alumnus of The University of Tulsa, who clearly appreciates how his TU degree has influenced his life.  Morgan has been a loyal partner of his alma mater, generously supporting an array of programs since 1980, focusing mainly on the Friends of Finance/Finance Excellence Fund, the School of Finance and Operations Management, and TU Athletics.

Morgan has also shown his appreciation to the university by generously looking ahead to the future, establishing a life insurance gift that will benefit TU’s Friends of Finance organization. The Student Investment Fund is a centerpiece of Friends of Finance, the outreach group founded in 1985 by then-Professor Roger Bey and his colleague Mark Collins in conjunction with TU Finance alumni Bob Prince, Bruce Currie, and Bob Harrison. The Student Investment Fund enables TU finance students to manage a portfolio currently valued at more than $7,000,000.

Wyatt’s gift is part of a proud alumni tradition of supporting the Friends of Finance and the Student Investment Fund, recognizing the importance of hands-on investment experience for finance students. Friends of Finance also sponsors the popular and well-attended Executive Speaker Series, which brings nationally known business executives to TU’s campus eight times a year to share their knowledge and expertise with our campus community and the greater Tulsa business community.

The Wyatt C. Morgan Endowment for the Student Investment Fund exemplifies the spirit of community for which TU is known. This thoughtfully established fund will help ensure that future generations of business students will graduate with the knowledge, skills, and solid understanding of financial markets that they will need to build productive and fulfilling careers.
