Michael J. Bellovich is a proud and loyal alumnus of The University of Tulsa (BSBA ’06) who is committed to fostering opportunity in higher education, especially at his alma mater. Michael has many wonderful memories of his TU college days, including the superior education he received in his business studies and the enduring friendships he made through participation in campus activities.
After graduating from TU, Michael began a fulfilling business career and remains grateful for the opportunities he was given as a TU finance and management graduate.
Michael’s brother, John A. Bellovich (BS ’90), and sister-in-law, Brena J. Bellovich (BS ’89), also are alumni who appreciate the quality instruction they received at TU. They are the proud parents of Aaron and Ian Bellovich, who may someday follow in their parents’ footsteps by attending TU.
Michael deeply appreciates the support and encouragement he received from his parents, Steven and Janet Bellovich, to pursue his aspirations at TU. Steven was a distinguished and beloved faculty member and administrator who joined the faculty in 1972 and served as the dean of TU’s College of Engineering and Natural Sciences from 1995 until 2012, presiding over a period of remarkable growth and development. Under his leadership, J. Newton Rayzor Hall, Stephenson Hall and Samson Plaza were constructed.
Steven passed away in 2012, leaving behind an extraordinary 40-year legacy of academic excellence and development. His TU legacy is sustained by the successes of students, alumni, faculty members, and most importantly, his family members. The Bellovich Family wishes to provide scholarship opportunities to future generations of TU business students in honor of Michael’s business degree and in recognition of the family’s strong ties to TU. In fulfillment of this wish and as part of TU’s Pioneer Program, Michael and Janet established a life insurance gift to create the Bellovich Family Scholarship Endowment Fund.
