Noble Affiliates, Inc.

L. Boyce Perry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa in 1961, after having served in World War II. Soon after his graduation, Mr. Perry launched a long and fulfilling career, working first for Conoco and then for Samedan Oil, which later became Noble Affiliates, Inc. He served Noble Affiliates in Ardmore, Oklahoma, for 30 years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Perry also enjoyed a fulfilling home life during this time with his wife, Marion, and their two sons. Mr. Perry passed away in 1998 after a battle with cancer.

In 1996, Noble Affiliates, Inc. established The L. Boyce Perry/Noble Affiliates, Inc. Endowed Scholarship Fund in honor of Mr. Perry’s retirement and in recognition of his many years of dedicated service to the company.

The University of Tulsa continues to be deeply grateful for The L. Boyce Perry/Noble Affiliates, Inc. Endowed Scholarship, which fosters opportunity in the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences while paying tribute to the professional legacy of a distinguished petroleum engineer and the company he served.
