Michael “Shawn” Crisp is a proud and loyal alumnus of The University of Tulsa (BSBA ’06, MBA ’08) who is committed to promoting excellence and opportunity in higher education, especially at his alma mater. Crisp fondly remembers the superior education he received in his business studies, his active participation in the Kappa Alpha Order and the enduring friendships he made with other students who eventually became leaders in Tulsa’s civic and business communities.

After graduating from TU, Crisp went on to a successful career, utilizing the knowledge he gained in his studies and the business networking contacts he developed at TU. He served as the corporate compliance officer at the Trust Company of Oklahoma. Crisp appreciates the high quality of the education he received at TU as well as the scholarship assistance he was given as a student. As part of TU’s Pioneer Program, Crisp has established two life insurance gifts to create the Shawn Crisp Memorial Scholarship Fund.
