Layne D. Fisher is a devoted and loyal alumnus of The University of Tulsa (BS ’07, Accounting; MBA, ’09), who proudly maintains a close relationship with the university through his volunteer work with the TU Alumni Chapter in Dallas, Texas.

Fisher has many pleasant memories of his college days at The University of Tulsa, including the enduring friendships he made, the excellent education he received, and the exciting TU athletic events he attended. He has been building a successful career since his graduation from TU, using the knowledge he gained in his studies and the business contacts he developed at TU.

Fisher continues to appreciate the high quality of the education he received at The University of Tulsa, as well as the scholarship assistance he was given as a student. He wishes to assist others from his hometown high school in Skiatook, Oklahoma, who would like to pursue degrees at TU.

In fulfillment of this wish and as a part of The University of Tulsa’s Pioneer Program, Layne D. Fisher has established a life insurance gift to create an endowment at The University of Tulsa which shall be formally recognized as The Layne D. Fisher Endowed Scholarship Fund.
