University of Tulsa alumnus Robert S. James (BS ’59) and former student Judith C. “Judy” James have demonstrated their loyalty to TU through generous support of the TU Annual Fund for the Collins College of Business, the TU Annual Fund, the Golden Hurricane Club, Nimrod International Journal, KWGS, The William and Imogene Hill Legg Trust Endowment Fund for the Mabel Gensman Legg Memorial Scholarship in Law, the Women’s Golf Team and Gilcrease Museum.

Their giving has earned them membership in the President’s Council and the Circle Society, which is TU’s most exclusive donor affinity organization.

Robert and Judy have many pleasant memories of their time at The University of Tulsa, where they experienced quality academics while establishing enduring friendships through their participation in Greek life. Robert was a business management major and a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity; Judy was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.

Each went on to forge successful careers in the Tulsa area – Judy with a long career at IBM Corporation, and Robert in commercial real estate and investments, most recently with his own business, The James Company. The couple’s leisure interests include automobile racing, traveling and boating on area lakes.

Wanting to help future generations attain their own goals, Robert and Judy James established The Robert S. and Judith C. James Endowed Scholarship for the Collins College of Business.
