Harry G. Willis, who graduated from The University of Tulsa with Bachelor of Science degrees in education (’72) and mass media news (’80), and his wife Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Willis, who graduated from The University of Tulsa with a Master of Arts degree in education (’77), are loyal alumni and longtime supporters of The University of Tulsa and Golden Hurricane Athletics, and have demonstrated their deep and abiding commitment to their alma mater as members of the Golden Hurricane Club for more than two decades, with Harry serving on the Golden Hurricane Club Board of Directors since 2001, a leadership position culminating in his selection as President of the Golden Hurricane Club for 2005-2006.

As such, Harry and Jackie Willis have named The University of Tulsa as the beneficiary of a two-life charitable gift annuity with Texas Presbyterian Foundation, thus assuring future funding for a permanent endowment fund at the University to be formally recognized as the Harry and Jackie Willis Endowment Fund for the Golden Hurricane Club.
