Floyd L. and Virginia G. Walker

Floyd L. Walker (JD ’49), the legendary Tulsa trial lawyer who made trial lawyer history when he successfully represented Telex against IBM, has directed that proceeds from his estate be used to establish the Floyd L. Walker Trial Advocacy Program at TU. The program will involve the study of trial practice utilizing volunteers from the American College of Trial Lawyers. Walker practiced law in Tulsa for 53 years. After his discharge from the military, he attended and graduated from TU law school in 1949. Walker was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and was a TU 2002 Distinguished Alumnus.
