Frances Lindsay Patterson (BS ’43) is a native Tulsan and a loyal alumna of The University of Tulsa, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business. Patterson was an active member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and continued her involvement in the organization as an alumna. She has many pleasant memories of her TU days and appreciates the quality education she received there. After earning her TU degree, Patterson became a devoted civic volunteer, donating her time to worthwhile programs and projects in the community.
Throughout her life, Patterson has maintained a strong commitment to and deep respect for higher education as an avenue for personal success and opportunity, especially for women. In celebration of her 89th birthday on June 7, 2010, Patterson’s three loving grandchildren, Lisa Marie Coffey, Amy Berry England, and John Rawson Berry, honored their grandmother by establishing the Frances Lindsay Patterson Endowed Scholarship Fund for the Collins College of Business.
