The Paul Strasser Memorial Scholarship for Electrical Engineering was established by Mr. Strasser’s widow, Doris, to honor his memory. Paul Strasser died of leukemia at the age of 37 before completing his studies in electrical engineering at The University of Tulsa. Professor Gerald R. Kane, chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the time, helped Mrs. Strasser create this scholarship program for non-traditional students majoring in electrical engineering.
The TU community is deeply grateful for this important endowment, which extends the legacy of a proud TU student while recognizing and assisting those following in his footsteps.
