Successful computer programmer Dennis Frampton had the ability to look outside of his own experience to support the needs of others in Tulsa. This generous friend of The University of Tulsa certainly used his accomplishments to benefit higher education in our state.
Born in 1947, Dennis grew up in Tulsa, attending Orville Wright Junior High School and Memorial High School. He passed away at the age of 61 in 2008 after a long career in the computer field.
In 1998, Frampton generously established a considerable endowment at TU to be used after his passing to provide scholarships to deserving nursing students. The Dennis Frampton Endowed Scholarship for Nursing fortifies the number of qualified nurses available to contribute their skills and knowledge to the medical profession in Oklahoma and beyond.
