Conference of Accountants

The Conference of Accountants has been hosted by The University of Tulsa Collins College of Business (formerly known as the College of Business Administration) since 1947, when the first professional development meeting of local accountants was organized by Professor Paul J. Graber.

Over the years, the Conference of Accountants at TU has become a major annual meeting featuring a distinguished roster of national and international experts examining the global and ethical issues facing the accounting profession.

The proceeds of the Conference of Accountants have been designated to support scholarships at The University of Tulsa for many years, providing financial assistance to accounting majors in the Collins College of Business.

In 2009, the Conference of Accountants Board chose to establish a quasi-endowment fund at the university to support deserving accounting students. This important quasi-endowment fund is formally recognized as the Conference of Accountants Quasi-Endowment Fund for Scholarships and Educational Excellence in Accounting.
