One measure of true leadership, whether exhibited by an individual or within an organization, is the ability to identify a need and then to meet that need in a meaningful way. The University of Tulsa’s Class of 2003 Student Government Association (SGA) (formerly known as the Student Association or SA) showed it was up to the task, selflessly seeking to benefit the students who came after them at TU.
This outstanding group of student leaders established the Student Government Association Endowed Scholarship Fund in 2003 to benefit students in their second year or above at TU. They described their organization as seeking to improve and enrich the university experience for all students. The University of Tulsa appreciates the philanthropy-minded leaders from the Class of 2003.
