Stephen Christopher “Chris” Lopp (BSBA ’96, Accounting, MBA ’99, JD ’21) launched a successful career after earning his first two degrees from TU, founding and leading Financial Forensics & Investigations Group. This Tulsa-based financial forensics firm specializes in litigation support and expert witness services. After earning his law degree from TU in 2021, he also established The Lopp Law Firm.
Chris continues to appreciate his collegiate experience, and he fondly remembers the enduring friendships he forged through his participation in Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, the excellent instruction he received in his classes, and the exciting TU Athletics events he attended.
Lopp has given back to his alma mater in many ways, financially supporting the Collins College of Business, the University School, and TU Athletics. In addition, he has served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Accounting and Business Information Systems at TU.
In 2011, Chris decided to create a scholarship endowment fund in conjunction with TU’s Pioneer Program life insurance initiative, establishing The Stephen Christopher Lopp Endowed Scholarship Fund. This important scholarship will provide assistance to future generations of students who, like Chris, are graduates of Tulsa Public Schools. The fund will also support TU’s deserving student-athletes.
The University of Tulsa is deeply grateful to this loyal alumnus, who has decided to help others experience the same quality education that he enjoyed at TU.
