Christina J. Bishop-Jackson and Glen N. Jackson

Christina J. Bishop graduated from TU in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, and in 2010 with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. Her husband, Glen N. Jackson, graduated from TU in 2005 with bachelor of science degrees in computer science and applied mathematics.

While at TU, they participated in many extracurricular activities, including vocal music, Greek life and Mortar Board (Bishop); and Student Government, The Collegian, and the TURC Scholars program (Jackson).

The couple has lost no time in helping the next generations of TU students achieve their own goals. They have generously supported a wide array of programs including the TU Annual Fund for the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the TU Annual Fund for the Department of Chemical Engineering, the Golden Hurricane Club, the Women of the Hurricane Club, the TU Graduate School and the TU Uncorked annual fundraiser. In addition to their membership in the Chapman Legacy Society, they have been members of the TU President’s Council.

In 2013, Bishop and Jackson made a substantial gift to establish the Dr. Christina J. Bishop and Mr. Glen N. Jackson Endowed Scholarship Fund for Chemical Engineering and Computer Science.
