Brett M. Myers (BSBA ’07, Management) continues to treasure the time he spent on the Men’s Golf Team at The University of Tulsa. Golf has been an important part of Brett’s life for many years, dating back to his childhood when his father taught him the game and helped build his skills.
Brett recognizes that his experiences in college were life-changing, and that his time on the golf team helped lead to his success at TU and beyond. He is deeply grateful to his parents, Charles and Deborah Myers (BED ’79), for their support of his academic and athletic endeavors at TU.
In 2011, Brett and his parents established a scholarship endowment fund for deserving student-athletes on the Men’s Golf Team as part of the Pioneer Program life insurance initiative. This scholarship is known as The Brett and Charles Myers Men’s Golf Scholarship Endowment Fund, in recognition of the bond Brett and his father share in pursuing the game of golf.
The University of Tulsa is grateful to this loyal TU alumnus and his parents for their efforts to support the deserving student-athletes who will follow in Brett’s footsteps in the years to come.
