Carrie J. Rollmann

Carrie J. Rollmann (BS ’05, Management Information Systems; MBA ’08) launched a successful career in the financial sector after graduating from The University of Tulsa, and she is committed to promoting opportunity for others who are following in her footsteps. Her husband, Christopher Rollmann, also is a TU graduate, having earned his MBA in 2011.

Carrie has wonderful memories of her college days at TU, including the excellent instruction she received in her studies in the Management Information Systems program (now known as the Business Information Systems program). She recognizes the positive influence her degrees and experiences as a TU student continue to have on her life, and the fact that higher education can be an important factor in the success of any individual. Carrie also is deeply grateful to her parents, Marty and Carol Hersh, who provided financial support and encouragement as she pursued her TU degrees.

In 2011, Carrie Rollmann established a scholarship fund to pay tribute to her parents for the sacrifices they made that enabled her to attend TU. She saw this as a way to “pay forward” the support she received from them. The Hersh Scholarship Endowment Fund was established by Carrie through The University of Tulsa’s Pioneer Program, and this namesake fund will support future TU students wishing to study Business Information Systems, Information Systems Technology or Computer Science. The TU family is grateful to Carrie Rollmann for transforming her feelings of gratitude into a special tribute that will help other TU students in the years to come.
