Carol Ann Korte Stockwell was a proud and loyal alumna of The University of Tulsa (Bachelor of Fine Arts ’78). Although a talented artist, Mrs. Stockwell pursued a career in sales after she graduated from TU, but she continued to express her artistic talents through creative hobbies, including sewing, crafts, floral arranging and gardening.

Carol Stockwell demonstrated her loyalty to her alma mater through several gifts supporting the Henry Kendall College of Arts and Sciences and the TU Annual Fund, dating back to 1982. Before she passed away in December of 2012, Mrs. Stockwell made arrangements for a generous estate gift to be made to the TU School of Art, Design and Art History. Proceeds from this endowed gift are used to enrich the curricula and programs for the deserving art students who are following in Carol Stockwell’s footsteps.
