The performing arts are important to Bette and Wynn Wozobski, and they believe in helping young people pursue their talents and aspirations in the arts.

Bette Wozobski (MA ’73, Speech Pathology; MA ’76, Learning Disabilities) is a loyal TU alumna, and she and her husband, Wynn Wozobski, have supported a wide array of programs at The University of Tulsa since 1977, including the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge (TURC), Friends of Finance, the TU Annual Fund for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, KWGS, and the Golden Hurricane Club.

In recent years, their focus has been on the performing arts at TU, with the couple helping to fund a TU theatre production at Tulsa’s Guthrie Green in 2013 (Shakespeare in the Park), and creating an endowed scholarship fund to support theatre students that same year: The Wozobski Family Scholarship Endowment in Theatre and Musical Theatre.

In 2019, Bette and Wynn Wozobski decided to move their support to TU’s renowned music program, and they amended their endowment resolution to create The Wozobski Family Endowment Fund for Music. This endowment now provides funding for summer music camps in the TU School of Music, helping to inspire talented high school musicians to pursue their aspirations in the field of music.
