TU alumna Ann Gibbons (BS ’64, Mathematics) established the Beryl Gibbons Memorial Scholarship for Chi Omega in 1995 in honor of her late mother. Beryl Maupin Gibbons graduated from TU in 1924 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and both she and her daughter were alumni of Chi Omega sorority. Ann Gibbons made several gifts to support the fund from 1995 until 2008, and she left a generous estate gift to endow the fund after she passed away in 2010. This scholarship fund supports deserving students who are members of Chi Omega sorority.
