Andrew H. Comstock graduated from The University of Tulsa in 2000 with a BS degree in Finance, and he has many wonderful memories of his time on campus. He is grateful that he was able to develop his leadership skills by participating in a number of extracurricular activities, including serving as a Presidential Ambassador, participating on the TU Spirit Squad, and being a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, in which he served as secretary.
Over the past few years, Andrew has served in important alumni capacities at TU, including as President of the National Board of the TU Alumni Association and Ex-Officio Member of the TU Board of Trustees (2017-2019), as President of the Kansas City Chapter of the TU Alumni Association (2010), and as an At-Large Member of the National Board of the TU Alumni Association.
Andrew and Michaela also have given generous financial gifts to TU, supporting a wide array of programs in business and athletics. They also support the University of Kansas Cancer Center because Andrew is a cancer survivor, and he is committed to helping others who face this struggle.
Andrew Comstock returned to his native Kansas after he graduated from TU and launched a successful career, and he currently serves as Principal and Wealth Advisor at Beyond Wealth in Overland Park, Kansas, a firm he co-founded. He participates in the Overland Park South Rotary Club, and he is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), and a member of the Kansas City CFA Society.
Michaela Comstock hails from Omaha, Nebraska, and she graduated from Wayne State College in 2000 with a degree in elementary education and teaching. After her graduation, she served as an education leadership consultant for her sorority, Theta Phi Alpha, before moving into the fundraising arena. Michaela worked as a development professional for the Archdiocese of Kansas City and as Development Coordinator for St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Prairie Village, Kansas, before going to work for Castlebar Asset Management, where she currently serves as office manager and marketing coordinator.
In 2018, Andrew and Michaela Comstock established The Andrew and Michaela Comstock Endowed Scholarship in Finance and Business at The University of Tulsa. This important scholarship will be funded by an estate gift, and it will support finance and business majors from the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The University of Tulsa is grateful to this accomplished couple for creating this important source of funding for future TU business students. TU’s plans for progress are only possible thanks to the enduring support of our loyal alumni and friends.
