Andre B. Chenault (BA ’03, Geosciences) chose to study the geosciences when he was a student at The University of Tulsa, and he continues to be grateful for the quality education he received and for the professors who taught him and mentored him to graduation.

Andre made his career in a different field, helping his father build the family’s successful commercial property management business in Tulsa. However, his interest in the subject matter that he studied at TU has never wavered, and in 2017, he established a planned gift to fortify the Department of Geosciences at TU. The Andre B. Chenault Endowment Fund for the Geosciences will provide supplemental funding for the Department of Geosciences, to be used at the discretion of the chair of the department.

The University of Tulsa is grateful to this forward-thinking alumnus, who hopes to help others enjoy the same quality education that he received as a geosciences major by providing important resources and opportunities to the students who will follow in his footsteps.
