The A. Wallace Easter Trust was established by the late Alexander Wallace “Wally” Easter, a longtime and successful member of the Tulsa real estate community. Although Mr. Easter was known primarily for his professional activities in real estate, he also was a member of the original founding quartet of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America. He was a good friend of two TU past presidents, the late C. I. Pontius and the late Ben Graf Henneke. This Charitable Remainder Unitrust was established to provide unrestricted funding to The University of Tulsa. Mr. Easter passed away in 1997.
